"WOW!!!I just watched your 1st class last night and I wanted to tell you that in my 3 yrs of taking art classes and several abstract workshops you were by far the most incredible and knowledgeable teacher I have ever had!!! You are so wonderful about explaining every detail of the process and why you do things. I picked up so much just from your first 2 hr class. I am so glad I found you! "

Hi! I'm Paulette!

I've been a painter for almost 17 years and I've taught hundreds of students to paint more confidently, with more freedom and ease. The reason I teach is to help artists improve their painting skills, find their voice, and enjoy the journey!

FAQs

Most frequently asked questions and answers

How many videos are in the class?

There are four class videos and one bonus slideshow video.

When does the class start/when will I get access?

You get access as soon as you complete your purchase. Check your email to gain access...and be sure to check that spam/junk folder. ;)

How long are the videos?

Each video is between 7-30 minutes in length.

I live in England (insert your country here)...will I still be able to work with you?

Yes of course! You don't have to live in the United States to take this class since it's online and you can watch the videos.

Is there a supply list?

I send out a supply list to all students when they join a class, but if you already paint with heavy bodied acrylic paints, you probably already have much of what is needed for this course. If you need to get a sense of what you'll need before you buy the class, check out the suggested supply list here with everything needed listed except for a few sizes of filbert paint brushes (affiliate link): http://shrsl.com/45d79

Do I need the exact same paints and/or tools that you are using?

You don't have to use exactly the same things I'm using, but do keep in mind that if you are using cheap craft or student grade paints and brushes, you will not achieve similar results. I recommend you use the highest quality supplies that you can afford...my favorite brands of acrylic paint are Golden, Liquitex, Matisse, M. Graham, and Sennelier because of their high pigment content. You will need good quality heavy body acrylic paints for this class. Cheap paints and tools will only cause you to be frustrated as they don't perform as well as good quality ones. You can find my suggested tools & supplies list here (affiliate link): http://shrsl.com/45d79

Who is this class for? Who is it not for?

This workshop is for all levels, from beginners to experienced painters.  My teaching style provides plenty of direction because I explain everything as I go along….which will help a new painter and at the same time time, share all kinds of secrets that a more experienced painter will find beneficial.

I'm not computer/tech savvy. Will I be able to take this class?

There will be some computer/internet skills required to be able to access the class session and the recording, but I feel they are pretty standard and if you're able to create an account on a website, log in, know how to watch content from the web, then you'll have the skills needed.

Is there a Facebook group included?

There isn't a Facebook group with this self study class.

How long do I have access to the course site?

You will have access as long as the course exists and hasn't been retired...but I advise you not to wait too long to watch the videos and put what you've learned into practice.

Is this class a one time payment or a monthly subscription?

This is a one time payment and you will not be charged monthly, unless a payment plan is offered and you choose that option.
